TGIS!
First order of business this morning was, of course, this.
Naturally, the automatic mail machine there was very courteous but disappointed all its customers with "I'm sorry, due to technical difficulties your request cannot be processed at this time". I did manage to get the piece of information out of it that I needed - namely that postage to Germany would be 80ct.
I then got a haircut in Manhattan - picked the third barber shop I found, since the first two were populated by African Americans exclusively. I had toyed with the thought of barging in there and asking for an Afro but decided against it.
I then did laundry, bought some groceries and went running a few miles down the Hudson River at sundown (yeh, I do have a thing for that I guess). Now I found out that the liquor store under our apartment does not carry Bailey's so we'll have to see where we get the booze for the party tonight.
Oh and I'm wondering whether I should go to Ground Zero tomorrow. The only problem is that I hope to sleep for most of the daytime, since our shift starts at 11pm tomorrow. Well, I figure I won't be sleeping that much anyway.
