To Whom It May Concern

I don't want to name names, but a certain female member of our party has parents, siblings, friends or any other acquaintances that I soon have to hunt down and hurt. Out of the four nights this certain female member of us has slept here, we were woken three times by the telephone, any time between 7 and 9 am. That other time, an hour on the phone just kept her from having breakfast with us. Hey, I'm the last one who'd want to keep anyone from speaking to their loved ones. But dear GMT+1-community, please bear in mind we are GMT-5. Certainly you could say that any good citizen should be awake at 7am on any day. Let me now inform whoever this may concern that I am not. In case of emergency, feel free to wake all three of us at four in the morning.

In any other case, calling at 7am on a Sunday is unacceptable. I mean at least as long as you know that we don't have to work. If you know that all three of us would be coming home from a night shift at that time, call away.

Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, three times is enemy action. I'll see to it that there's no fourth time by unplugging the phone when I sleep.

And yes, I am grumpy in the morning. Ask skriehma. So let me sleep!
